A quick update from my side

Hey all my dear readers! :D I hope you all are doing great! ^_^

This has been a long dormant ride for me right? No Internet and a lot of work. But I guess I am taking a sneakpeek from my sleep, I said, I guess..

So work has started for me, after that long, and strict training by the company that employed me. Strict? Yes, very! Why? Well, no brace yourselves, and get ready to read a heart breaking story from the geeky kiddo out here!

So, I will go ahead with the don'ts. I guess, that'd give you a better idea, a clearer idea of the strictness.

The Cons of the strictness
No Internet! I repeat No Internet O_O :(
No Laptop
No Personal Computer
Only cellphone, and extremely poor network coverage
SHIT FOOD!
Rules, rules, rules!!
School boy treatment?! Damn!
Expectations
Meagre Salary
Time boundations
Long un-neccessary working hours
Strange people
Irritating Environment
No Time
Enough already? What else you want to read, death?! -_-

Okay, you might consider this as a rant, but well, just try and think this all for regular 5 months, without a holiday, and 2500 km away from home. Now say!

Well, anyways, now things are little settling down. With me settling in the job, starting to get real work, and getting access to Internet and my laptop, atleast once I am not inside the company premises.

But life will keep on going, right? With all goods and bads. The point is, why this post is here? Was this supposed to be a rant over past? Well no, I have other things to say too.

I have got an Internet connection, and if I keep getting time, I will keep up with the updates for my blog. But if I dont, it would become a weekend blog, rather a daily one as it used to be until June end.

So what am I planing to post this month, I mean the rest of the month, if I get time to? Music, of course. And some good tutorials from the Internet. Games, yes! :D and some great articles from web in regular fromrum fridays. And what else? What aobut my tech tuesdays? well, they will have to wait. I used to take a lot of time writing them, so I will have to get a perfect balance before I start with them again.

So, enough of the past-future talks, eh? No psychic stuff. But better than psychocto! :P

On the spiritual side, I am a little hit. Not getting time to do my daily prayers, so feeling a little disconnected with myself. Rest, I am trying to adjust with the adversities life is throwing at my way in the name of this new city, and all. No friends, No good food, and less salary, phew! what are the good things man?!

Of course there are some good things too, but for the time being, I am unable to see the brighter side of the coin. But well, as the time will pass, we will be able to turn the coin and unleash the bright sunlight of happiness again! :D

On a positive note, hope to see you all soon again!

Good Night people! :)

Just wanted to share some words with you all

Hey all my dear readers! :D I hope you all are doing great! ^_^

Been long, right? A bit too long. All those Musical Mondays in last 4-5 months were all scheduled posts. I had no Internet Access, and well, no laptop/PC either to blog/visit back or do anything I had been doing until June '14.

Well, that travel for the job in the June end, was really a big change for me. Living without family, friends, Internet, games, it all was like, as if I was totally fun deprived. Not that I couldn't have fun with the resources there, people there, but well, my own rules and routines didn't allow me to. Thus, those 4-5 months became total dormancy for me.

Disconnected from a lot of friends, and my family, it was a new experience for me. I don't know how much have I been able to develop myself, either personally, or professionally, but somewhere my heart says, the experience stored in my sub-conscious mind will help me in life further.

Now I am moving to another new city, even farther from my family and friends. But well, I will have my laptop with me. So I will try to find an Internet connection too. Then atleast I can connect with some good old friends so that I don't feel that lonely, and well, this blog will always be there for me to help me spend that little bit free time I might find to make myself feel lonely and depressed.

Well, but I have learned a lot of things, and I don't want to discuss all the events that happened with me which made me feel sad and depressed. Now that all is gone. And now I am again moving. Of course it will be hard for me to not feel homesick, I love my home and family just too much. But, atleast I won't be that sad since I have experienced a lot already.

On a positive note, and positive thoughts, I hope I can get time, and resources(INTERNET to be precise!) to continue blogging so that I keep interacting with you all.

Hope to be back to normal soon, I mean the Toxifier self :D for you all, and the small, nagging kid for my family. I guess I shouldn't write further, or these watery eyes will begin to water my beard now, LOL! Anyways, see you all soon again!

Good Evening!

And I forgot, if I get time tomorrow, I might schedule more posts. Else, wait till I get my stable Internet connection in the new city. And of course, a place to live, a place to eat. :)

San Andreas is a funny place! :D - Weirdo

Hey all my dear readers!! I hope you all are doing great! :D

Welcome to my blog on this great Thursday evening. And hey, Happy August! :D My birthday is approaching :D 8 more days to go ;)

Today, I wanted to share a super-funny experience of mine I had this morning while playing Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. I was doing the regular cop-irritating-and-killing thing. Why? Well, I wanted to increase my weapon skills, LOL! I have finished that game 100% without cheat codes many times now. So, game story hardly matters to me anymore. I am more interested in finding cool things and doing funny things in San Andreas.

So I was in San Fierro, and practicing the Shotguns when this happened. When the cops were all over the place, I just went on a killing spree and my Sawn-off quickly gained the Hitman level. I was on the Doherty garage that your beloved Catalina gives instead of the ZR350's pink slip/cash >_< As soon as I had the hitman level, I just saved the game and of course lost all the wanted level stars I gained, LOL! But what's funny, or too new in that?

Let me explain, wait a second. If you kill somebody in San Andreas while they are in the car, mostly you take a headshot. The body comes out beheaded and the gate of the car is opened. In some case when you are on a rampage/killing spree the graphical bugs/errors don't let this rendering to happen. This makes such cars' doors locked forever and the bodies lying in them with their heads down on the dashboard.

Now what happened last morning was the driver cop came out of the car, but the other cop didn't. Thus, his body was lying on the passenger seat. I grabbed the wheels and as I drove, the cop's body kept on moving here and there in the car. It was extremely funny. I took a few screenshots while I was driving, and then clicked a few photographs with that camera CJ had. The screenshots and pics follow, have fun! :) I didn't had that screen-recorder installed, else I would have surely made a video. Anyways, the pics are funny too. Enjoy them! :D

Make sure to click the images so that they enlarge and you can have clearer view :)

SCREENSHOTS:

Pics from CJ's Camera:

Funny, isn't it?! :D I have such funny experiences due to game bugs many a times. I will keep sharing whenever I come across such things! :D By the way, Happy August once again, and don't forget 9th August is my birthday! :D Be there for the party, but of course with a gift, LOL! Just kidding! ;)

Hope to see you all soon again! Have a great evening! :D

Wassup on my side?

Hello my friends! :) How are you all? I'm doing good, by the way, and hope the same for you all! :)

Actually it's been a little while since my exams got over. Still I have not posted much here. Only a guest post this morning. Actually I have been damn busy since the exams got over. Now that does sound strange that after a long tussle with exams when they finally got over I am still busy, phew! :/

Well, I have been busy visiting relatives, buying books, and also looking around for training, which I finally found a good one and joined the other day. So the 6 weeks of the holidays, all that I have left now will be totally engulfed by that training. But don't worry that certainly doesn't mean I won't be posting here anything. I will be posting as regularly as I can.

For the coming time, I have a couple of things in my mind like a review of a cloud storage website I recently joined, and some games I want to share with you all. But apart from that I am looking for guest bloggers who would like to share stuff at my blog. I didn't know much of this guest blogging earlier, though I'm now trying to get familiar with this trend.

Apart from all this, I have updated my Disclosure policy, that can be found here. Also you might have noticed the link on the page-select bar above. Apart from all this, I have been busy with maintenance of my blog. What maintenance? You didn't notice any changes, right? Well they are minute. I have tried to improve the performance of my blog a little, deleted some redundant code, and also many broken links have been removed.

I was thinking of going on with a nice maintenance of all my posts to get rid of many broken links that must've been there in my old posts since videos get removed, websites are closed, etc. But with more than 250 posts, this task seems quite irritating and for the time being I have dumped this thought of mine.

So what maintenance is going on these days here? Well, I have been seeing if there are any link/banner exchanges that are no longer cool enough. I mean only I have their link here, or the link is broken, changed, etc. Such links are being renewed and removed. So a lot of small things here and there are going on my blog. So don't think that I am neglecting this place even though my exams are over for now.

I am trying to spend time here, but seriously things have been quite busy at my end. Also I am taking care of many things at the blog at the moment, and I will be coming with a few posts real soon.

Also I just want to inform you all again, that I have started to accept guest posts here and if you wish to make a guest post here, you can contact me at gp4blog@gmail.com. The post will be reviewed before going live, but certainly not be edited. At most 2 backlinks to your blog/website will be acceptable.

So that's all going on my side, how about you all? Hope to post here soon again! :) Good day friends! :D

My Laptop! :D - ThinkPad e430 Review - My Take - Tech Tuesday

Hey all! :) So final practicals over, now final Theory start next Monday, phew! Tiring exams. By the way! Welcome to my blog on this nice Tuesday! :D I mean Tech Tuesday! :D

How I finalised e430?

So, I bought my first laptop last year. Why so late? Well, I know PCs are better than Laptops and I don't like wasting money. So I waited until I really needed a computer on the go. The time came finally and my father too agreed to buy me a laptop. I did extensive research and talked to so many people and shopkeepers, read tonnes of reviews on Internet, and thought to buy a HP dv6. My cousin lives abroad and told me he would buy me one and I can give him money when we meet since the laptops are quite cheaper in his country as compared to India. So I started more research to find something more durable and one that carries International Warranty. Sony was one that I immediately ruled out off the list of choices since the cheaper ones are not durable and durable ones are damn expensive! Toshiba is not too popular in India as yet, so I had to give up that also because not too popular implies, bad service(lack of service centres, contacts, etc.) Dell never seems appealing to me, I gave up on that idea way before Sony! :P Moreover, though popular, the reviews of dell(once the warranty expires) are worst! HP doesn't come with an international warranty, and I was thinking of buying a dv6. I gave up that idea too. Now I was thinking about Lenovo IdeaPad. After much roaming around the city and getting reviews, my father suggested me to look for IBM. I thought oh yes, I never thought about it. I came to know it now sells by the name of Lenovo ThinkPad. I immediately started my research. Found that though Lenovo won't be giving me International warranty, and if I want it I'll have to pay extra, still their durability is unmatched. Even MacBook stand nowhere when we talk of the durability of a ThinkPad. I was confused between e430 and the tougher option T430, but I thought to go for the less expensive one and bought the e430.

Main Review

When talking about this laptop, the first thing that solves most queries related to durability and quality is to highlight the fact that it's a ThinkPad, the original IBM series. It's been over 6 months since I have been using it(I bought it in October '12 end) and so it is perfect to review about it, and I can tell about most things.

Display

14" screen makes it an 'easy-enough' display which bundles the portability by being a bit smaller than the other Edge variant, e530. 14" sounds sometimes small, but when you'll use it you'll know it is the most sufficient one. Even more portable that the 15" ones, because 14" being lighter and smaller.

Weight

Didn't weigh it on a scale as such, LOL!. It is average when we talk about weight, I guess a little lighter than the corresponding Z series of IdeaPad. Though the difference is of few hundred gram, but you know when you have to carry more than just a laptop(as is the case most of the times), this difference even looks like a life saver! :D

Battery Backup

I have experienced battery backup ranging from 4 hours(at least) upto 7 hours. Don't think that the laptop would give a high backup from day one, it started giving a good backup after a couple of weeks passed. An important point is use of power adapter more frequently than the battery for initial weeks, which I guess all laptop users already know. Moreover I have found some good tips to extend battery life for laptops, I will see when I get time to share it :)

Durability

With an experience of merely 6 months, I'm not in position to say much about Durability, but it's a ThinkPad, "The Business Standard Laptop", ought to be durable and most reviews on the internet suggest that. Though my ThinkPad looks as good as new, but 6 months is no time to say anything about durability of an expensive thing. I have read many reviews on Internet as I told you all, and it is said that ThinkPad are more durable than MacBook!!! :D

Keyboard

It lacks the Numpad as any 14" laptop, but still the keyboard is amazing. The keys are silent and the keyboard formation is such that it feels quite comfortable while typing. The Trackpad is centre aligned rather than left aligned in most laptops. This makes the laptop surfce around the Trackpad become a good palmrest as I type! :D It has got dedicated media control buttons so no need to drag the pointer to the pause/play button, Volume Up/Down, Brightness, Wifi, Camera, Mic, or Mute! One thing it lacks is a Pause/Break button which I, as a programmer, feel quite sad about.

ThinkVantage Tools

These are a group of software that come bundled with your ThinkPad Laptop. They are great for maintenance purpose, keeping track of battery, etc. and some good utilities, such as added functionality for the Finger Print Reader. More about ThinVanatge Tools, you can find on the Internet, since talking about them would become a different post :)

Looks

Something I love! I don't like those glossy laptops, they look irritating. The matte look makes the user feel like using a classy thing, and not something that's common with everybody. So it seems like I have the classier thing as compared to most of my peers! :D To be specific, none of my friends own a Business Series, they all have that glossy consumer line ones! :P

Gamers

The only problem is that there is no room for a dedicated GPU in case you wish to upgrade at a later stage. You have to rely on the Intel HD Graphics alone. So gamers! e430 should not be anything in your wishlist. Well, when I bought it there was no option, so I am not sure if they now have a slot for GPU too :) This thing you gotta check on your own, I don't know.

Added Features

This Business line of Lenovo has certain unique features that most of the laptops don't have. These include:

  1. Linux Support - ThinkPad supports Linux OS. This means that it is configured to run Linux, which heats up most laptops excessively if not administered by a professional or someone with good knowledge of Linux.
  2. TrackPoint - Perhaps the oldest feature running from the IBM ThinkPad inherited by Lenovo too, makes it really easy to scroll and use pointer with keyboard at times, without the need of a mouse.
  3. Finger Print Reader - haha! It is amazing. I can store my passwords and attach them to one of the 10 digits of my hands. Thus the ThinkPad can record 10 fingerprints and for each finger I can assign a quick link to any of my favourite websites where I need to log in. So I just swipe my finger and the website logs in! No need to enter password again and again and worry about it's loss! :D

Everyday Users(NOT GAMING), Verdict for you

e430 is the BEST choice and worth every penny! It is a better choice than consumer line IdeaPad, or Pavilion g6, or Inspiron(I don't know about XPS or dv6 so I'd not comment). Spend a little extra over that IdeaPad and buy yourself a Thinkpad, a complete package of Class, Quality, Durability and Amazingness!

Ports

It has got 3 USB 3.0 ports, and one eSATA(that is a USB 2.0 port that can be used even when the laptop is powered off. It is used to charge devices from Laptop battery). Moreover e430 has both HDMI and VGA ports so that you can connect to all sorts of displays easily, so be happy those who worry about their laptop connectivities during presentations! :D One Ethernet port with a Gigabit Ethernet Card which means super fast speed on Wired LAN connections!

And ya! I found these pics on the Internet as most of my posts, since I am not a good photographer. So please, if you have any problem with me posting any of them let me know, I'll remove it :)

I don't know how many of you would consider buying a business series laptop, but still hope that my review helped you all. :) All comments and suggestions welcomed! :D I thought to make the following image my blog's icon, what say? :D

My encounter with Autodesk Maya

Hey all! It's almost midnight and so not my style of posting I know. But I was very busy the whole day. Phew! Wanted to visit back my blogmates, but couldn't. Was very busy today, but since I wanted to make a post, I will make one before heading to sleep! :D

So yesterday I had my practical exam for the subject of Multimedia. As a subject it is an easy one, but in practical it ain't. Not because of what we are taught but more because of the instructor we got, a lazy one who is not interested in teaching. So in practical we had to design animation in Autodesk Maya, which is a software used widely to make graphics and animations. It is a cool software but requires a lot of practice and as I said our instructor wasn't much interested, so how could we get a head start? :D

In the exam we were straight-away given difficult animations to create, somehow we managed, but it was a thunderclap for us, seriously. Maya is a vast, extremely vast software and one semester was surely not enough to explore it. I didn't do much practice, but I liked that software. It was sometimes fun to draw things in it. I won't share any of my creations here since I never saved them! LOL!! Rather, I would share with you all an introduction to this software that was sent to me by one of my friends so I don't know from where he got the matter :D Apart from that, I have found some nice videos on Youtube teaching Maya, so I will embed them too in this post.

One thing I would like to say from my experience, for anyone who would use it and has even a little creative mind, would love to work on it. More than just work, it is fun! :D One more thing, Autodesk gives a 3 year free license to students! :D So if you are in an university/college Autodesk knows about, you got a cool thing in your hand! :D LIKE ME! :D

So let's start, have fun! :D

Introduction to Maya

It is 3D computer graphics software that runs on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Linux, originally developed by Alias Systems Corporation (formerly Alias| Wavefront ) and currently owned and developed by Autodesk, Inc .Maya 1.0 was released in February 1998. Following a series of acquisitions, Maya was bought by Autodesk in 2005. Under the name of the new parent company, Maya was renamed Autodesk Maya. However, the name "Maya" continues to be the dominant name used for the product. It is used to create interactive 3D applications, including video games, animated film, TV series, or visual effects. The product is named after the Sanskrit word Maya (माया māyā), the Hindu concept of illusion. Users define a virtual workspace (scene) to implement and edit media of a particular project. Scenes can be saved in a variety of formats, the default being .mb (Maya Binary). Maya exposes a node graph architecture. Scene elements are node-based, each node having its own attributes and customization. As a result, the visual representation of a scene is based entirely on a network of interconnecting nodes, depending on each other's information. For the convenience of viewing these networks, there is a dependency and a directed acyclic graph. Alongside its more recognized visual workflow, Maya is equipped with a cross-platform scripting language, called Maya Embedded Language. MEL , is provided for scripting and a means to customize the core functionality of the software, since many of the tools and commands used are written in it. Code can be used to engineer modifications, plug-ins or be injected into runtime. Outside these superficial uses of the language, user interaction is recorded in MEL, allowing even inexperienced users to implement subroutines. Scene information can thus be dumped, extension .ma, editable outside Maya in any text editor.

Maya's support for Python script in tandem with the native Maya Embedded Language (MEL) are the finishing touches that ensure your satisfaction with the product. If Maya doesn't do something when you pull it out of the box – and you'll probably have to dig for a long time before you find something it doesn't do – you can extend Maya's capability with scripts of your own. Maya really shows its grit when it comes to animation. It supports scripted animation, keyframe animation and procedural animation. You can animate in separate layers, dub your animations with multiple audio tracks, and even render your animations in stereoscopic 3D. Apply motion capture data to your character models and splice models into existing footage with the motion tracking feature. Slow down or stop the timeline for Matrix-like effects with the time warping feature. Edit the motion trails of objects for easy adjustment of your animations. Copy movement patterns from one character to another with the Maya-exclusive animation retargeting function. The list of animation features could go on and on, but you get the idea – this 3D animation software is a powerhouse. Maya's toon shader is ideal for cartoon-like images and does a great job of imitating hand-drawn and cell-shaded art. Manga artists will get a lot of use out of this feature.

Some nice works I found on Internet, these DO NOT belong to me

Some nice video tutorials I found

All these above videos belong to this YouTube Channel. Must see, you'll find it nice :)

I hope you all like this post, all sort of suggestions and comments welcomed! :) Good night, and I must sleep now, hahaha! :D

Some nice quotes, and what I think about them to mean - My Take - Intellectual Thursday

Hey all my dear readers! Noticed some changes to my blog? Well they are little ones to be seen broadly but it took me 4 days of super maintenance of my blog to make it look good, clean it off crap, etc. Amnyways, Welcome to my blog on this nice Intellectual Thursday Evening! :)

Actually I had a few posts in my mind, but first I needed to make my blog a little better, so was busy with maintenance in last few days. Removed a lot of redundant codes, scripts, and links. Though still I need to do a lot of work to optimize it, but well tomorrow start the final practical exams for this semester, so I won't get much time then :/ Though I will try to be here now and then, and when I will get time, I might schedule a couple of posts too. Anyways, let's get to the topic, right? :D

Recently, I joined a free SMS sending website, so started to send some nice quotes to all my friends whose numbers I have. Then, I thought to share the good ones I found with all my dear blog readers too :) Then after a little more thought about this idea, I thought to attach a short meaning of these quotes, this meaning is what I perceive the quote's meaning, which may or may not comply with everyone's mindset. So I guess that's ample amount of Disclaimers, Forewards, Prefaces, etc. etc. etc.!! Let's get to work! :D

  1. "In Life, Failure is not the real end, but it can be the real beginning of success"

My Take: This one can be understood as an alias of the famous quote Failure is the Stepping stone to success. One should not consider failure to be final or dead end of the road to their goal, but should take charge to find out what went wrong and be even more determined to be successful in the next try!
  2. "Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage" - Anais Nin

My Take: For this quote I'd say, er, yeah! I recall the one my English teacher at school used to use - Sky is the limit. You are not limited by the circumstances or destiny of life, rather your limits are your own courage. If you think you can do something without thinking about the success or failure, and give your best try, then even if you might not succeed, but you'll not be discouraged with the outcome. You can see ample amount of opportunities around you, but to see them you need the eyes which need you to be courageous and determined to try!
  3. "There is no feeling, perhaps, except the extremes of fear and grief, that does not find relief in music" - George Eliot

My Take: Don't tell me you don't know about the famous Silas Marner written by George Eliot! Anyways, the quote is quite true. We all listen to music and what we hear at a particular point of time is more dependent on our mood than on the likes/dislikes. Certain songs/music might not suite your taste most of the times, but when you are in that kind of mood(which is in flavour with that of the song), you might find the best song you heard. Music soothes and relaxes our mind. At times it gives us a means of escape from the world. Songs and music can mimic any emotion!
  4. "The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine" - Mike Murdock

My Take: Our daily routines have a lasting impact on our life. What we do daily has a effect on us. A habit can be good or bad. Bad habits tend to be destructive while the good habits in some way or the other find a place in our personal development. A person with a healthy routine has a better probability of being healthy in old age than the one with an unhealthy one. Next, a person who tends to work hard, and be consistent with his efforts, is bound to be successful. Thus your daily routine does have an impact. You can relate this quote to another thing as I described, that what you do constantly, you become skilled in that and thus succeed in that direction.
  5. "Keep your face always towards Sunshine and shadows will fall behind you" - Walt Whitman

My Take: This one is easy, right? Simple enough, if you look at the brighter sides of the things rather than concentrating on the bad ones, life would be much more simpler and happier. The sunshine is metaphoric of 'good things' and shadows of the bad ones. Thus, if you are optimistic, you can find happiness in everything! :)
  6. "Joy is not in things, it is in us" - Richard Wagner

My Take: This one is simple too! :D It means that joy is not attached to the materialistic things of the world like money or property, it is in yourself. The joy, the happiness is hidden inside you. You need to find it out. Rather than being crazily running behind the things to give you happiness, try to find satisfaction in what you have and then the world is afterall a nice place and thus enjoy the gift of god! :)
  7. "When you have learned to laugh at the things that should be laughed at, and not to laugh at those that shouldn't, you've got wisdom and understanding" - Lucy Maud Montgomery

My Take: This one is already quite elaborate for me to explain, but still let's start :D It simply means one should not laugh at others and try to be serious in life. Never make fun of anybody's situation, you never know when karma might strike you back! Next, if you'll "learn to laugh at things you should", which means if you'll learn to enjoy things and smile life will become good. Not laughing at others and being happy in every situation is the real trait of a wise human.
  8. "He will win who know when to fight and when not to" - Sun Tzu

My Take: This one is a very amazing quote. One should learn to control their temper. When we are angry, we heedlessly speak anything, which might land us in trouble later on. If we better stay calm, and know when to speak it would be a nice option. If you would fight with everyone, you won't be able to find peace. If you won't fight even when you are suppressed, or oppressed, you won't be able to find happiness either! So analyze the situation, and take the actions accordingly.
  9. "People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well. neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily" - Zig Ziglar

My Take: Constant motivation can transform perhaps any individual! In dearth of motivation, a person might start failing. It is thus better, to self motivate yourself. Keep telling yourself that you can do it and don't give up until you succeed. With this mantra, neither there would be a dearth of motivation, nor you'll feel a need of somebody(else than your own self!) to motivate you.

I hope you all like these quotes and find my takes valuable. Would love to have your comments and suggestions as always! :) See you soon again. Take care everyone! :)

"Only thing we have to fear is fear itself" - Intellectual Thursday

Hey all my dear readers! :D I welcome you all at my blog on this amazing Thursday! :)

Am I becoming accustomed to this now? No, I am not talking about blogging, I am talking about, "Thinking something amazing to write about and then forget about it when the time comes!?" I don't know, but it's not good :/ Again I forgot like the Tuesday what I thought for Thursday to post here.

But hey!! I recalled! Damn, this was a bad jump back on the topic! :O Anyways, let's get serious, and start talking.

The famous words of Franklin D. Roosevelt - "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself" is what's on my mind to discuss with you all today. The famous quote reminds me of an amazing story I read in my last school year, "Deep Water". It was the story about William Douglas' fear of water and how he overcame it. It was an amazing excerpt and it was quite inspiring. To be honest I am not sure if these were first said by Roosevelt only because the Internet sources have these words in his speech.

The quote I mentioned above is a great quote and I just think it's one of my favourites. It not only fills my heart with courage but gives me strength at times when it is needed the most. This even makes me recall the famous advertisement of a beverage that said "Everyone is afraid of something, but the one who moves ahead of it, is the one who wins". In the context of the quote, this line is quite matching. Actually if you say you don't fear anything, you are just reassuring yourself that you are brave, thought maybe you are not. But if you are honest and know things that scare you, you can think of ways to deal with your fear and be a winner.

The point I want to highlight is that, being scared is not bad. Now you must wonder how does that goes with the quote I was sharing? Actually, the quotes have a hidden meaning. You should fear nothing, means you should be brave to face anything that scares you. Fear the fear itself, means only thing you should not let your mind be is afraid of a situation and step back. You might be scared for once, but if you be courageous and take a step further, you never know what you may achieve. This reminds me of a pic I saw on facebook(I'll upload here if I find it on the Internet again) that said you never know how close to your goal you are, so never give up.

Aha! I found the pic and uploaded it! :D :D

So coming back to what we were discussing. Actually fear is a feeling that is there in everyone's heart. The only thing is who fears what. Someone might be scared of dark, and the people'd be laughing at him and at the same time, the one's laughing might be scared of thunderstorms! So don't be disheartened that you are scared of something. Being brave doesn't mean that you are not scared of anything, but it rather means that nothing can scare you. What's the difference? Well, being scared means you are scared of something, but if something can scare you it means it will throw you away from your path, but being scared of something and taking a step further shows that yes! you are the most courageous person in the world. now some readers find this misleading and think they are scared of their parents and now they won't be and they will be rude to them. Excuse me! There is a difference in being brave and decent. Ah, I always go off topic.

Fear the fear itself means that there should be nothing that makes you take a step back on your path. Of course your path should be the right one and justified. You should not take unjust steps.

One important thing is if you are not wrong, fear itself will be less cross ways with you. If you are doing something wrong that might raise a brow, in that case the caution level is high and you'll be scared of any sound, even a pin drop. The point is simple, if you are right you should not be scared of anything. Moreover, the fear of fear doesn't mean that you have to be scared of fear, NO! It simply means that you don't have to let fear push you back on your way ahead to success.

I know my article had a lot of off-topic jumps and was not very well formatted, but I think I have made my point clear. The only thing one should fear is fear which only means never let anything push you back just because you are scared to move forward. Always have faith in yourself, and do whatever it takes(of course the justified path!) to achieve success! :)

I hope you like the article and all comments and suggestions are welcomed always! :D Take care, have fun! :)

eBay is the worst in Customer Service! - Super Sunday

Hey all my dear readers! :D How are you all doing?! :) :) I hope you all are just great! :D Yesterday's gaming post did made me concentrate back well on my studies again! haha! :D Preparations going on fine, Two more exams and then FREEDOM FOR 2 MONTHS! :D :D

It's Sunday, Super Sunday, but I'm totally pissed off today because of eBay. I would like to make a CRITICIZING POST about eBay and declare that I'll never buy anything again from that website even if that means I'll have to pay more at the other websites! >_< eBay, a pioneer in Online Shopping is one of the worst websites on Internet I must say. I remember when I shared my experience about Myntra I said that about Myntra that they didn't serve me well, but atleast they compensated for their mistake well enough and I received a perfect product next time. SO I would say Myntra is good. But well, our topic out here is that ebay sucks!! >_< What happened with me is that, my experience with the sellers on eBay was always very nice. So this time with 100% trust I ordered yet another thing from eBay. This time it was a Calculator, it was a Citizen CT-512 Calculator. It was cheapest there, but well IT WAS FAKE, which I never knew. The problems that I found with the product were: 1. It wasn't working. 2. It wasn't CITIZEN, it was CITIIZEN. Please note that I said double "I". That means it's duplicate. 3. I didn't receive any bill! 4. The seller sold it at 155.55% extra than MRP(I mean at 255.55% of the actual rate!) and eBay said it's completely okay. Let me tell you selling anything in India above MRP is ILLEGAL! 5. My problem wasn't addressed and I was told there was no problem at all! >_< The seller mentioned that it was a Citizen CT-512 Calculator. I have taken screenshots to prove that I'm correct:

The above screen shots show that the seller has put so many different pictures to confuse which one is the real product. Next, he writes in his description that this product is Citizen and not Citiizen. But see he shipped me CITIIZEN(That means duplicate product) that too in non-working condition. I have also taken a pic of the product I received, and in a copy of the same pic I have marked the areas to show that I was cheated! Check the following pics:

I would further like to tell what all happened with me. I ordered a new Citizen CT-512 Calculator. On eBay it was being sold for Rs. 115. I thought to buy it from there, since my experience of buying from eBay was good. But that was the last purchase I made from that website and then promised myself that I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM eBay again because eBay is super-scam and a website that is total SHIT!

I received the product after 3 days. It didn't work. I tried to contact the seller, the seller didn't answer his phone. I tried to contact eBay, they didn't help me out. Then I was looking at the box of the calculator when I saw that it's MRP(Maximum Retail Price) is Rs. 45 only and I was sold it for Rs. 115. That means it was sold at an illegal price. In India it is not allowed to sell anything at price above it's MRP. If it were shipping charges, I would have understand, but the SHIPPING WAS FREE!! That means I was completely cheated. I told this to eBay, they said THEY CANNOT HELP ME. ACCORDING TO THEM IT WAS OKAY!! LET ME TELL EVERYONE EBAY IS DOING ILLEGAL PRACTICES. NEVER BUY FROM EBAY!!!

I was extremely angry. The next day I again saw the calculator thinking it might work that day. It didn't work. Rather on observing carefully I saw that it wasn't Citizen! It were CITIIZEN. Which meant I was shipped a duplicate product. I tried contacting eBay customer support and they asked me to raise a claim at eBay Guarantee. I was happy that I was being helped. But a day later I received an e-mail that said MY CLAIM WAS CRAP. IT HAS BEEN CLOSED. THE SELLER HAS SHIPPED ME WHAT HE MENTIONED IN HIS DESCRIPTION!! Please read the screenshots and you all will come to know the seller mentioned it to be Citizen and not Citiizen. Neither eBay helped nor the seller. eBay rather paid seller too and I didn't receive any refund nor the working product. I lost my money and didn't even get any working product even if it were duplicate. I am extremely angry with eBay. I emailed them again that you should help me I have the proof that I was shipped the wrong item. They never replied me! It has been more than a week when I mailed them but nobody helped me! >_< I want to caution all of you about malpractices at eBay and moreover would like to make an appeal that PLEASE DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM EBAY. IF YOU ARE CHEATED, THEY WILL NEVER HELP YOU AND WILL DEFINITELY LOSE. THUS EBAY IS A COMPLETE SCAM AND A CRAP - SHIT WEBSITE. PLEASE PLEASE NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM EBAY EVER!!!
